Hard Reset ACER A101 Iconia Tab

First method:

1. At the beginning switch off the tablet by holding the Power button.
2. Afterwards press and hold the Volume Up button.
3. Then press the Power button for a short while while holding Volume Up. 
4. You can release Power key when the tablet vibrates.
5. Press the Home button to see Recovery Mode menu.
6. Press Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset", and then push the Power button to confirm.
7. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.
8. To restart the device, select "reboot system now".
9. Success! The hard reset is done!

Second method:

1. Turn on the tablet by using the Power button. Go to Settings and then to Privacy.
2. Tap Factory data reset. 
3. Choose Reset device and select Erase everything.
4. Well done!

Third method:

1. First of all, turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up button.
3. While holding Volume Up press the Power button for a short while. 
4. Release Power key when the tablet vibrates.
5. You have to quickly work the Screen Lock Switch as soon as the tablet vibrates (while still holding the volume button).
6. Good job!
