Hard Reset ACER A700 Iconia Tab

First method:                                            

1. The first thing you have to do is switch off the tablet by holding the Power button.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up button next.
3. Then press the Power button for a short moment while still holding the Volume Up button. 
4. You can release the Power key as soon as you feel the tablet vibrate.
5. Press the Home button to see Recovery Mode menu.
6. Press Volume Down to choose "Wipe data/factory reset" and then push the Power button to confirm.
7. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.
8. In order to restart the device, select "Reboot system now".
9. Success! The hard reset has just been performed!

Second method:

1. Press the Power button to turn on the display. 
2. Go to Settings and then to Privacy.
3. Tap Factory data reset. 
4. Choose Reset device and select Erase everything.
5. Good job!

Third method:                                            

1. Firstly, turn off the device by holding the Power button.
2. Then press and hold the Volume Up button.
3. While still holding Volume Up press the Power button for a few seconds. 
4. Release Power key when the tablet vibrates.
5. Quickly work the Screen Lock Switch as soon as you feel the tablet vibrate (while holding the Volume button).
6. Well done!
