First method:

1. In order to switch off the device hold down the Power key for a short while.
2. Afterwards press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power button at the same time for a couple of seconds.
3. You should release held keys when the Recovery Mode appears on the screen.
4. Press Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset", and then push the Power button to confirm.
5. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.
6. To restart the phone, select "reboot system now".
7. Success! The hard reset has just been performed.

Second method:

1. If the display is off, press the Power button to turn it back on.
2. From the Main Screen choose Settings.
3. After that select Backup&Reset and tap Factory data reset.
4. In the next step choose Reset Phone.
5. Select Erase everything to confirm the whole operation.
